East Asia Minerals is managed by an experienced and motivated team of professionals with extensive international experience and a broad range of skills in the mineral exploration and mining industry. Much of this experience was gained working for international senior mining companies, which makes the Company unique in the junior mining sector.

The team's skills and experience encompass all aspects of the industry, ranging from project generation and early-stage exploration to feasibility studies and mine development, which includes negotiating and executing complex property agreements and partnership ventures. These technical and business skills are supplemented by a working knowledge of the mineral potential of the East Asia region.

East Asia Minerals is guided by an active, complimentary Board of Directors. Each of the 4 members contributes though their unique and extensive exploration, mining and/or investment experience.
 
Edward C. Rochette
Position: C.E.O & Chairman of the Board

Mr. Rochette is a lawyer, and an internationally known negotiator and transaction specialist with 30 years of experience in the acquisition of mining rights, international business, land management and natural resource transactions. Mr. Rochette was a former Partner with IBDA, a premier consulting firm in China conducting business in Beijing and other areas of the world, where his responsibilities included being the transaction specialist in the international mining sector. Previously he was Senior Vice President of Ivanhoe Mines Ltd for 16 years where his responsibility included the negotiation to acquire the world class Oyu Tolgoi copper-gold project. Mr. Rochette splits his time living in Beijing, China and Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia.

 
Alex Granger
Position: President

Mr. Granger (BCom, McGill University) has spent the last twelve years in the investment banking industry covering the metals and mining sector. The last ten of those years were spent in the Asia Pacific region with CIBC World Markets covering companies based in East Asia and Australia. Mr. Granger has assisted companies in Asia raise in excess of $1 billion on the Toronto Stock Exchange and has advised both large and small Asian companies in cross border transactions. Mr. Granger brings an extensive knowledge of the global capital markets to East Asia Minerals, having been based in Canada, the U.S., China, Australia and Hong Kong during his career as a metals and mining investment banker. Currently based in Hong Kong, he brings added synergies as the Company pushes forward with its growth plans.

 
Michael Nayyar, Chartered Accountant
Position: Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Nayyar has more than 15 years of financial strategy and operational experience in a number of industries, including mining and exploration. He began his career in public practice with an international accounting firm providing assurance, business advisory and taxation services to private and public clients. Since leaving public practice, Mr. Nayyar has gained significant experience with public company accounting and financial reporting for Canadian and US companies. In addition, he has consulted on initial public offerings, corporate re-organizations and business advisory assignments for various clients. Mr. Nayyar is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.

 
Peter Sederowsky
Position: Director

Peter Sederowsky holds a master's degree from the University of California - Berkeley. He is presently senior partner at Skywalker Partners and an advisor to several companies in the mining & metals and commodities business (such as Mechel OAO, IGE Resources AB and Africa Invest AB) as well as financial institutions when it concerns those same sectors. Mr Sederowsky has previously held directorships at companies listed on the International Stock Exchange, London; the AIM, London and the Nordic Growth Market, Stockholm. Mr Sederowsky holds experience from dealing with financial institutions when it comes to lending and borrowings well as equity and has previously been active as a lawyer and Euromoney(r) has categorized him as one of "the World's Leading Banking Lawyers" and "the World's Leading Capital Markets Lawyers".

 
David Stein
Position: Director

David Stein is the current President, C.O.O. and Director at Aberdeen International. Mr. Stein was most recently a senior partner at Cormark Securities Inc., where he was a gold mining equities analyst, director and member of the executive committee. Mr. Stein joined Cormark's predecessor Sprott Securities Inc. in 2001 and was a publishing analyst for nine years, as well as gaining experience with corporate finance and marketing. Mr. Stein holds a Master of Science degree in Economic Geology and Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering from Queen's University, and is a CFA charter holder.
