East Asia Provides Clarification

 Toronto, Ontario - July 10, 2012: East Asia Minerals Corporation (TSXV:EAS) ("EAS" or the "Company") announces that it will not be proceeding with the grant of options previously announced on July 2, 2012 and therefore retracts that announcement.
